  • Nanocrystal self-assembly: engineering the core and surface ligand of chemically synthesized colloidal nanocrystals as building blocks for low-cost, room-temperature fabrication of optical and electronic devices
  • 3D nanofabrication: developing advanced technologies, including self-folding and 3D optical nano-lithography, for 3D-architecture nano-devices
  • Smart nano-device: exploring magneto-mechanical, opto-mechanical and chemo-mechanical actuation mechanisms for building reconfigurable optical devices and nano-robots for biomedical applications
  • Optical metamaterials: large-scale fabrication of ultrathin optical elements with nanostructures of strong light-matter interaction for light wavefront modulation
